Your first big mobile games event in 2021 comes at the end of January. In what will be its 19th edition, the Taipei Game Show attracts more than 400 exhibitors, 320,000 public visits and 2,400 trade visitors from 25 countries every year.
It’s a haven for mobile gaming enthusiasts with three main sectors: Asia Pacific Game Summit, B2B Zone and B2C Zone. This year, the Taipei Game Show will be available online as well, so you can enjoy a truly immersive gaming experience and test out future top mobile phone games from the comfort of your home.
Pocket Gamer LaunchPad #3 (Online)

In April 2020, Unity successfully launched Unite Now – the first free series of online sessions designed to entertain, educate and inspire creatives and budding programmers.

While no date has been confirmed, the cross-platform game developers have stated that they’ll be running more sessions, episodes and events later this year.
TIGA Games Industry Awards

TIGA is one of Europe’s largest network of independent games developers and publishers. For the past nine years, they’ve held one of the gaming industry’s most exciting and prestigious events.
If 2020 is anything to go on, we expect this event to be held at the end of November.
Although this award ceremony is for gaming professionals and the media, it’s worth making a note of, as it’s a fantastic source for critically acclaimed mobile games you probably haven’t heard of before.
In fact, The Seven Chambers game was even nominated for the ‘Casual Game of the Year’ award in 2019, so you know it’s the real deal!
